First series you say?  Hmmm....

There are four books in the second series too.  I didn't want to do a trilogy--too Tolkien!  and I didn't want to do five books--too Eddings! and I didn't want it to go on forever--too Goodkind!  so I picked an arbitrary number. Four sounded about right.

What's Going On Now?

I am currently finishing the final draft of Book Three in The Asphodel Cycle: Temptation of Asphodel.  There will be lots of updates and reviews for Redemption coming soon!

 The Reckoning of Asphodel was a top ten finalist for Best Sci-Fi/Fantasy novel of 2007 on the ever so fabulous Preditors & Editors Readers' Poll.  Asphodel spent some time at number one on Fictionwise.com best seller list for Fantasy novels!

The Reckoning of Asphodel had one heck of a year.  Be sure to check out my reviews page to get an idea of how fabulous it was. Hopefully, Redemption will follow the trend. The third book in the Asphodel Cycle, The Temptation of Asphodel   is due to be released in late 2008 or early 2009.  There's a lot more of Tamsen and Brial to go!
